Surf Chic + Going Blonde

Hanna Kovanen

Frederikke Sofie at Jason Wu SS17 Talking about hair trends, there is going to be one above others in the spring - the surf chic. As I have always preferred the natural look, this trend is more than welcome in its every variation - effortless and messy waves to be seen soon. My hair has its 100% natural colour and I would say it is rather healthy as well. However, I have decided to change the colour of my hair, because I have tendency to look for a light, which makes my hair look lighter in pictures (evidence), so why not going blonde? I am not sure how blonde I will go in the long-run, and it is difficult to predict what shade it is going to turn out to be after the first bleach. I am the most worried about how bleaching is going to affect my hair, how to maintain the perfect tone and the maintenance in general, what products to use, and then there is the regrowth - roots every 6 weeks? I am used to going to a hairdresser 2-3 times a year, so that is obviously going to change. I would love to hear about your experiences and what is it like to be blonde?    Photo: Vogue.com
